The layout of this page will depend a lot on the actual resources. I liked the "checkerboard" of the Squarespace site, but that is not easily done with Blackboard.

The content management should probably be as native as possible to Blackboard. If we do do this right, most layout options might possible with CSS overrides applied to native Blackboard structures.
